Additionally, the bill updates the definition of "resident enrollment" for the purposes of state school aid to include these nonresident children of all school district employees. This ensures that the enrollment of these children is recognized in the calculations for state funding, thereby supporting the financial resources available to the school district. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
