This bill authorizes the Department of the Treasury, on behalf of the Department of Environmental Protection, to sell and convey two parcels of surplus real property to Mercer County for the nominal sum of one dollar each. The first parcel is a 1.3-acre lot located on Lamberton Street in the City of Trenton, while the second is a 26.3-acre property known as the Mercer County Fire Academy Dempster Fire Training Center, situated at 350 Lawrence Station Road in the Township of Lawrence. Both properties have been declared surplus to the needs of the State and are to be used for public purposes, with any existing federal use restrictions remaining in effect post-transfer.

The bill stipulates that the sale and conveyance of these properties must be executed in accordance with terms approved by the State House Commission. Additionally, it specifies that the sale of both properties should be completed within nine months following the enactment of the FY2026 appropriations act, and the act will take effect immediately upon passage.
