This bill mandates that electric public utilities in New Jersey file an annual report with the Board of Public Utilities by February 1 each year. The report must detail each recorded vote cast by the utility and its affiliates at meetings of PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. (PJM) during the previous calendar year. It should include a description of the meeting's purpose, agenda, and the role of the utility or its affiliate, as well as an explanation of how each vote aligns with the state's goals for affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity production and conservation.

Additionally, the Board of Public Utilities is required to compile and submit an annual report to the Governor and Legislature summarizing the information received from the utilities, along with copies of their reports. The Board is also tasked with adopting necessary rules and regulations to implement these provisions. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon approval.
