This bill prohibits the New Jersey Transit Corporation (NJT) from displaying or maintaining advertisements that promote gambling, tobacco products, or vapor products. Specifically, NJT is barred from advertising casino games or sports pools unless the advertisement focuses on prevention, education, and treatment programs for compulsive gamblers. Additionally, the bill restricts advertisements for tobacco and tobacco-related products, as well as vapor products, which are defined as devices used to deliver aerosolized or vaporized substances, including e-cigarettes and vape pens.

To implement these restrictions, the New Jersey Transit Corporation is required to adopt rules and regulations in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. The bill is set to take effect on the first day of the third month following its enactment.
