This bill mandates that the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities, when participating in the National Core Indicators State of the Workforce Survey or a similar survey, must also distribute the survey to all eligible service providers for individuals with developmental disabilities. Service providers that fail to complete the survey will incur a fine of $5,000 per year, which will be enforced by the Commissioner of Human Services through a summary proceeding in a competent court.

Additionally, the Commissioner of Human Services is tasked with adopting rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this act in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. The act is set to take effect on the first day of the third month following its enactment, although the Commissioner may take necessary anticipatory administrative actions prior to this date.
