The required materials include the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Veterans Benefits Guide, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Federal Benefits booklet, and additional resources to help veterans access available benefits.

The act aims to ensure that veterans are well-informed about the benefits they are entitled to, thereby facilitating their transition and support within the state. The MVC, in collaboration with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, is tasked with determining any additional necessary information to be included in these packets. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
