This bill mandates that the State Parole Board submit a report to the Governor and the Legislature within six months of the act's effective date. The initial report must summarize case dispositions for the ten years prior, excluding any years affected by significant operational impairments due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following this first report, the Parole Board is required to provide annual updates.

Each report must include detailed disposition statistics, as well as racial and ethnic demographic information for parolees or inmates who have been denied parole. Additionally, the reports should contain recommendations for improving the board's case management and services. The Parole Board is also tasked with notifying the public about the report's submission and providing a link to the report on its website.
