This bill mandates the establishment of a public awareness campaign focused on the risks associated with gambling and the resources available for compulsive gamblers in New Jersey. The campaign will be developed by the Director of the Division of Gaming Enforcement in consultation with the Commissioner of Health. It aims to educate the public on the risks, potential consequences, and addiction rates related to gambling, utilizing various media outlets such as newspapers, radio, social media, and television. The campaign must be implemented within 180 days of the bill's enactment.

Additionally, the bill allocates $200,000 from the General Fund to the Division of Gaming Enforcement to support the development and implementation of this campaign. The Director is also required to report to the Governor and the Legislature on the campaign's activities and accomplishments within 24 months of the bill's effective date.
