Additionally, the bill updates the language in the law to replace references to the "director" with "chief administrator" and clarifies the ownership eligibility for the vehicles associated with the special plates. It also mandates that any individual who resigns or is terminated from their position must return the special plate within 15 days. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
