Additionally, the bill mandates that owners or operators of cooperative sober living residences must provide written approvals from local zoning, fire, health, and building authorities when applying for a Class F license from the State. This requirement aims to ensure that these residences comply with local standards before being granted state authorization to operate. The bill is set to take effect immediately upon passage.
