Furthermore, the bill stipulates that insurers must cease electronic mail delivery of notices if they have reason to believe that the notice was not received or if the provided electronic mail address is no longer valid. This change aims to enhance communication between insurers and policyholders while ensuring that consumers receive important information regarding their insurance coverage in a timely manner. The act will take effect 180 days after its enactment.
