Additionally, it will assess patient care needs, perform a cross-analysis of the collected data to identify trends, estimate the future pipeline of health care professionals, and pinpoint any gaps between projected demand and current supply, along with recommendations for addressing these gaps.

The Commissioner is required to submit a written report detailing the findings and recommendations for policy or legislative action to the Governor and the Legislature within one year of the bill's effective date. The act will take effect immediately and will expire upon the submission of the required report. The bill aims to ensure that New Jersey's health care workforce is adequately prepared to meet current and future demands.
