This bill mandates that the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) implement a toll discount program specifically for individuals aged 65 and older who hold an account with the New Jersey electronic toll collection system (NJ E-ZPass) for passenger vehicles. The discount must be available at all hours and set at a minimum of 10 percent less than the standard toll rate for NJ E-ZPass account holders.

Additionally, the bill requires both authorities to automatically apply this discount when an account holder reaches the age of 65 or when a new applicant aged 65 or older opens an NJ E-ZPass account for a passenger vehicle. The provisions of this act are set to take effect on the first day of the third month following its enactment.
