This notification process is to be in addition to existing requirements under current law or regulation.

The bill outlines specific methods for notification, which include posting information on the division's website in an easily accessible manner, directly informing current contractors when new opportunities arise, and reaching out to interested parties who have provided their contact information. Furthermore, the director is required to communicate with interested vendors through at least two additional methods, such as telephone, fax, email, or certified letter, ensuring that all eligible vendors are adequately informed of contracting opportunities. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its enactment.
