This bill amends the duties and reporting requirements of the traffic safety commission in New Hampshire. It introduces a new responsibility for the commission to review and analyze relevant information and data concerning the causes of traffic collisions in the state, which is added as a new paragraph (II-a) to RSA 21-P:64.
Additionally, the bill modifies the existing reporting requirements by mandating that, starting November 1, 2026, the commission's annual reports must include aggregated data on the causes of traffic collisions for that year, along with recommendations on how to address these causes. The current language regarding the commission's reporting obligations is amended to reflect this new requirement. The bill is set to take effect on January 1, 2027.
