This bill amends existing law to permit individuals under the age of 21 to enter veterans' clubs, private clubs, and social clubs under specific conditions. The new legal language allows minors to be present in these establishments if they are accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or adult spouse, and if the accompanying adult signs them into the club and lists their ages. Additionally, individuals under 21 who present a valid military identification card will not need to be accompanied by an adult.

The bill also modifies the previous restrictions regarding the presence of minors in areas where alcoholic beverages are sold. It raises the age limit from 18 to 21 for individuals who can be present in these settings without an adult, provided they are in rentable rooms approved by the commission during times when beverages and liquor are served under a supplemental license. The effective date of this act is set for 60 days after its passage, which is anticipated to be May 26, 2026.
