This bill amends existing law to permit individuals under the age of 21 to enter veterans' clubs, private clubs, and social clubs under specific conditions. The new legal language stipulates that minors must be accompanied by a person who is at least 21 years old, who will sign them into the club and list their ages. Additionally, it specifies that individuals under 21 who are in the military do not require an accompanying adult to enter these establishments.

The bill also modifies the previous restriction that prohibited persons under 18 from being in areas where alcoholic beverages are sold, changing the age limit to under 21. It allows those under 21 to be present in rentable rooms approved by the commission when beverages are served, even without a parent or guardian, during times when the club is utilizing a supplemental license. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
