This bill amends RSA 287-D:7 to allow applicants for a gaming facility license to change their address while their application is pending. The new legal language inserted into the law specifies that an applicant may amend their application to reflect a change in the physical address of the proposed facility, provided that the new address is within New Hampshire and the municipality has not prohibited the operation of games of chance. The applicant must notify the lottery commission in writing of the new address and submit any required documentation. The lottery commission will then have at least 90 days to evaluate the new address and incorporate its findings into the decision on the pending application. Importantly, a change of address during this period does not necessitate the submission of a new application.

The bill also includes a provision that it will take effect 60 days after its passage. This change aims to streamline the application process for gaming facility licenses by allowing flexibility in the location of proposed facilities without the need for a complete reapplication.
