This bill amends the existing law regarding the Granite Patron of the Arts Fund by allowing the fund to accept donations and make expenditures under $50,000 without requiring prior approval. Specifically, it introduces new provisions that state donations equal to or greater than $50,000 must receive approval from the governor and executive council, as well as any expenditures of that amount or those related to employees of the division. Additionally, the bill mandates that quarterly financial reports be filed with the governor, executive council, and the fiscal committee of the general court.
