The bill specifies that the informational materials must include a description of type 1 diabetes, risk factors and warning signs, recommendations for consulting a primary care provider for screening, an overview of the screening process and implications of test results, and guidance for developing a treatment plan post-diagnosis. The new section added to RSA 200 is 200:40-d, which outlines these requirements, while no deletions from current law are noted in the text. The act is set to take effect upon its passage on July 15, 2025.
