Additionally, the bill states that any entity providing housing to three or more individuals receiving these services is also exempt, as long as these individuals are not mandated to use the entity for personal assistance or any health-related or supportive services beyond room and board.

The Department of Health and Human Services has indicated that this legislation will have no fiscal impact. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
