Additionally, the bill maintains the existing provisions regarding the waiver process for aftermarket tinting on vehicle windows, ensuring that such waivers are granted based on bona fide medical reasons and with a minimum light transmittance requirement of 35 percent. The effective date of the act is set for 60 days after its passage, which is anticipated to be August 23, 2025.
