Specifically, it amends RSA 657:15, II - III-a to require that candidates and authorized individuals can obtain lists of absentee voter applicants electronically, with the new provision stating that these lists must be supplied "in a sortable format" from the statewide centralized voter registration database. Additionally, the bill specifies that if an electronic copy exists, it must be provided at no charge in accordance with RSA 91-A.

Furthermore, the bill expands the information available on the statewide absentee voter list by including the voter's address, in addition to existing details such as voter name, ID number, party affiliation, and relevant dates regarding the absentee ballot request and return. The amendments also clarify that the lists will exclude voters with valid protective orders. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
