Additionally, the bill deletes the previous requirement that only permits could be issued after planning board review and comment, thereby streamlining the process for local governing bodies. The new provisions aim to facilitate the development of properties along private roads while ensuring compliance with local standards. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
