This bill amends RSA 14:8 regarding the enrollment of laws by the secretary of state. It introduces new provisions that require the secretary of state to publish the location of any enrolled and approved bill or joint resolution on its public website or a linked public website. This publication must remain accessible until the bill or resolution is either signed or vetoed by the governor or becomes law without the governor's signature.

Additionally, the bill maintains the existing process for forwarding bills and resolutions that have passed both branches of the legislature to the office of legislative services for enrollment and subsequent approval by the committee on enrolled bills. The secretary of state is also tasked with keeping these bills and resolutions as public records of the state. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
