This bill amends the existing law regarding the procedure for correcting the voter checklist prior to election day. Specifically, it removes the requirement for a Saturday session of the supervisors of the checklist, allowing for flexibility as long as the session occurs in accordance with the statutory requirements. The language deleted from the current law is the specific mention of a "Saturday" session, while new language is inserted to clarify that the session must occur as provided in RSA 654:27.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that no additions or corrections to the checklist can be made after the designated session, except as outlined in RSA 659:12. The corrections resulting from this session must be completed by midnight on the following Friday, either through updates to the existing checklist or by posting a new corrected version. Notice of these changes must also be communicated to the town or city clerk. The bill is set to take effect 60 days after its passage, on July 13, 2025.
