This bill amends the definition of "occasional food service establishment" in RSA 143-A:3, V. The new definition specifies that such establishments are those where food is provided for the public and can be served on the premises or taken away for off-premises consumption. The previous language that stated food must be "served" has been deleted, and the time frame for operation has been adjusted from a maximum of 30 days to 28 days within which food can be provided no more than four days.
Additionally, the bill clarifies that any part of a day counts as a full day for the purposes of this definition. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage, with an approval date of May 29, 2025, and an effective date of July 28, 2025.
