This bill establishes a new section in the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated (RSA) to create commemorative license plates in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill. Specifically, it amends RSA 261 by inserting a new section, 261:91-b, which authorizes the director of the division of motor vehicles to adopt rules regarding the design, sale, and distribution of these commemorative plates. The plates can be displayed in place of the front license plate on vehicles for a period not exceeding one year during the anniversary celebration. Additionally, the funds generated from this initiative will be directed to the land and community heritage investment program administrative fund as outlined in RSA 227-M:7-a.

The bill also includes a provision for its effective date, stating that it will take effect 60 days after its passage. The fiscal impact of this legislation is projected to be less than $10,000 for each fiscal year from 2025 to 2028, as determined by the Legislative Budget Assistant.
