This bill amends the existing law regarding the dual and concurrent enrollment program by establishing a maximum credit limit for courses funded by the state. Specifically, it stipulates that each course funded under this program shall not exceed 4 credits. The bill also clarifies that students in grades 10, 11, and 12 may receive funding for no more than 4 dual or concurrent enrollment courses per grade level.

Additionally, the bill allows students to take more than 4 courses in a year or courses that exceed 4 credits, but these additional courses would be at the student's own expense. The changes are reflected in the amendment to RSA 188-E:27, II, where new language is inserted to specify the credit limit and the conditions under which students may enroll in additional courses. The act is set to take effect upon its passage on May 08, 2025.
