Additionally, the bill maintains existing requirements for absentee ballot delivery, including the necessity for delivery agents to complete a form and present identification. It also stipulates that any absentee ballots received after the new deadline will be recorded as rejected and retained until the time set for the destruction of other state election ballots. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
