This bill establishes the second Thursday in October as children's environmental health day. The governor will annually issue a proclamation declaring this day and encourage cities and towns to observe it by raising awareness and educating citizens about the importance of clean air, clean water, safe food, and safe consumer products. The bill will take effect 60 days after its passage.
