This bill repeals the requirement for house and senate committee services staff to jointly prepare an annual index of all commissions. It also repeals task forces, study committees, and study commissions. Additionally, the bill establishes a committee to study the appeals process administered by the environmental councils established under RSA 21-O. The bill also repeals the John G. Winant memorial commission and makes the maintenance of the memorial a duty of the joint legislative historical committee. The effective date of the bill is upon its passage, except for one provision which will take effect on January 1, 2025.
