This bill amends the current law to expand the list of persons exempted from certain requirements in the practice of mental health. Specifically, it modifies RSA 330-A:34, I(d) to include organizations that provide clinical mental health services, employ licensed mental health practitioners, offer clinical supervision to their staff, and assume professional, ethical, and legal responsibility for the mental health services they provide.

The bill makes changes to the existing language by deleting the reference to "institution, facility, or nonprofit institution or agency" and replacing it with "organization." Additionally, it clarifies that these organizations must employ licensed mental health practitioners. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage, with an approval date of July 03, 2024, and an effective date of September 01, 2024.
