This bill proposes to eliminate the existing requirements for the licensure and regulation of court reporters. Specifically, it seeks to repeal RSA 310-A:161 through 310-A:181, which pertain to the licensure and regulation of court reporters, RSA 310:2, II(b), which relates to the advisory board of court reporters under the Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC), and RSA 326-I:7, III(f), which provides an exemption for licensed court reporters.

The Legislative Budget Assistant has determined that the fiscal impact of this legislation will be less than $10,000 annually for the fiscal years 2025 through 2027.
