This bill allows the winner of the state lottery to remain anonymous. It amends RSA 287-F:10, I-i to state that the financial, tax, trust, or personal records filed by the commission in connection with payment of a prize shall be confidential and not deemed public records. However, the commission may release the name, town or residence, date of prize, and the gross and net amounts of the annual prize payment of a winner if the winner has submitted a form provided by the commission consenting to the public disclosure of their identifying information. The bill also states that the winner is not required to sign the form in order to claim their lottery winnings.
