This bill requires employers to provide notice to their employees of resources available to support veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The notice can be provided in writing or through a notice posted in a visible and accessible location for employees. The resources must include contact information for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Center for PTSD. The bill takes effect 60 days after its passage.

The Department of Labor does not anticipate significant impact on revenues or expenditures at the state, county, or local level. It is possible that some employers may violate the law, resulting in additional civil penalties at the state level, but the impact is expected to be minimal. Civil penalties collected will be deposited into the Department of Labor restricted fund.
