The bill allows these establishments to provide specific single-use disposable plastic foodware accessories to drive-through, take-out, or delivery customers for spill prevention or safe transport without a customer request. The prohibition for all food service establishments and retail food stores will not apply until January 1, 2026, while the prohibition for large food or beverage facilities will apply beginning January 1, 2025. Violations of this prohibition will result in a fine of $100 per day.
