This bill changes the election process for county commissioners in Strafford County. Currently, county commissioners are elected by voters in each county commissioner district. The bill proposes that all county commissioners in Strafford County be elected by all the voters of the county. This means that county commissioners will be elected at large, rather than by district.

The bill also amends the law regarding county commissioner districts in Strafford County. It specifies that, except for Strafford County, where 3 county commissioners will be elected at large, counties will be divided into districts for the purpose of choosing county commissioners.

The effective date of this bill is January 1, 2025.
