This bill allows for a second cultivation center to be considered for alternative treatment centers. It amends RSA 126-X:7 by adding a new paragraph that authorizes the department to allow an alternative treatment center to operate additional cultivation locations, such as a greenhouse. The additional cultivation location must comply with rules adopted by the department and all applicable provisions of the chapter, including local zoning laws. The department is also required to solicit input from qualifying patients, designated caregivers, and residents of the town or city where the additional cultivation location would be located. This bill will take effect 60 days after its passage.
