This bill clarifies the role of governing body members for municipal budget committees. It amends RSA 32:15, I(b) to specify that governing body members and school board ex officio members serve in an advisory capacity only. They are not allowed to vote on any matter before the committee and their presence at meetings does not count towards the quorum requirement.

This bill takes effect 60 days after its passage.
