This bill amends RSA 273-A:3, I to further define "good faith" for the purposes of collective bargaining negotiations. The bill adds that "good faith" shall also mean meeting within 10 business days after receiving a written request from the other party to meet to bargain. This requirement may be extended by mutual agreement, but refusing to extend the timeline shall not be considered negotiating in bad faith.

The bill will take effect 60 days after its passage.
