The Nebraska Head Start Association is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary, having been established in May 1963. The association plays a crucial role in supporting young children and their families by providing a comprehensive range of services, including early childhood education, health care, nutrition, and social services. Over the years, it has positively impacted the lives of more than 5,620 individuals through its various programs, including Center-Based, Home-Based, and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships, which also engage with three federally recognized Native American tribes in Nebraska.

In recognition of the association's significant contributions to the community and its dedication to helping vulnerable children and families thrive, the Nebraska Legislature has passed a resolution congratulating the Nebraska Head Start Association on its sixty years of service. A copy of this resolution will be sent to the association to honor its commitment to early childhood development and education.
