Additionally, Staab was a strong advocate for groundwater management and outdoor recreation, fostering community partnerships and supporting numerous projects aimed at improving the environment and quality of life in Nebraska. He passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of seventy-seven, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and passion for natural resource stewardship. The resolution expresses the Legislature's congratulations to Staab for his exceptional service and impact, and it directs that a copy of the resolution be sent to his family.
