The resolution recognizes the achievements of the Norfolk High School cheer team and unified cheer team at the 2025 Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Competition held at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island, Nebraska. The Norfolk High School cheer team achieved a commendable fourth place in the Class A non-tumbling category, marking their highest placement in that division. Additionally, the unified cheer team celebrated a remarkable victory by becoming state champions in unified sideline cheer for Classes A, B, and C, just one year after their formation.
