The resolution commemorates the Papillion-La Vista South High School boys basketball team, known as the Titans, for their victory in the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association Class A Boys State Basketball Championship held on March 15, 2025. The Titans triumphed over the Omaha Westside High School Warriors with a close score of 61-58, marking their first state championship win after three years of reaching the district finals without success. The team has been coached by Joel Hueser throughout its twenty-two-year history.
