The Nebraska State Legislature has passed Legislative Resolution 37 to recognize and congratulate Tony Palmer, a wrestler from South Sioux City High School, for his remarkable achievement in the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling Tournament held from February 20 to February 22 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. Tony Palmer won the Boys Class A 215-pound State Wrestling Championship by pinning Jaeden Thompson of Norfolk in just 1 minute and 23 seconds. He concluded the season with an impressive record of 52 wins and 1 loss and is celebrated as a four-time medalist, having previously won gold in the 2024 Class B 215-pound championship match.

The resolution highlights the importance of recognizing the athletic accomplishments of youth in Nebraska and expresses the Legislature's pride in Tony Palmer's success. As part of the resolution, copies will be sent to both South Sioux City High School and Tony Palmer to commemorate his achievement.
