The resolution recognizes the achievements of Tyson Terry, a wrestler from Omaha North High School, who competed in the 2025 Nebraska School Activities Association State Wrestling Tournament held from February 20 to February 22 at the CHI Health Center Omaha. Terry made history by winning the Boys Class A 285-pound State Wrestling Championship, defeating Roberto Macias-Sidzyik from Creighton Preparatory School. Notably, he is the first wrestler in Nebraska to secure four state championships in the heavyweight division, finishing his high school career with an impressive record of 169-0.

In light of these accomplishments, the Nebraska Legislature congratulates Tyson Terry on his remarkable achievement and acknowledges the importance of recognizing the academic, athletic, and artistic successes of the youth in the state. The resolution calls for copies to be sent to both Omaha North High School and Tyson Terry to commemorate his historic win.
