The Department of Agriculture is tasked with filing copies of the updated publication with the Secretary of State and the Clerk of the Legislature.

The bill stipulates that, effective immediately upon enactment, all automotive spark-ignition engine fuel sold in Nebraska must comply with the new ASTM International standard. Violations of this requirement will result in penalties, classified as a Class I misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class IV felony for subsequent offenses. The original section 66-1226 is repealed as part of this legislative update.
