This bill amends section 71-3306 of the Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska to provide regulations regarding the addition of fluoride to water supplies. It allows any public or private entity that provides water for human consumption to add fluoride, as long as it follows the rules and regulations set by the Department of Health and Human Services. The bill eliminates the previous requirement that mandated certain entities to add fluoride to their water supplies.

Additionally, the bill repeals the original section 71-3306 and outright repeals section 71-3305 from the Revised Statutes Cumulative Supplement, 2024. This legislative change aims to harmonize existing provisions related to public health and safety concerning water fluoridation.
