The Nebraska Legislature recognizes the achievements of the Wausa High School one-act team, which competed in the 2024 Nebraska School Activities Association State Play Production Championships held from December 11 to December 13 in Norfolk, Nebraska. Under the guidance of coaches Sheila and Brad Hoesing, the team secured a first-place finish in the Class D-1 category with their production of "Torn, the Seven Deadly Sins," earning a score of 178 points. Additionally, individual accolades were awarded to Braydon Hoesing for Outstanding Performer, and Braden Bloomquist and Jake Munter for Outstanding Technical Crew Members, while the team also received the award for Outstanding Technical Crew.
In light of this significant accomplishment, the Legislature expresses its congratulations to the Wausa High School one-act team and acknowledges the vital support from teachers, administrators, parents, and the community that contributed to their success.
