1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the judicial system; to provide for reports
2 on the use of taxes in the judicial system.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. On or before January 1, 2025, the State Court
2 Administrator, Attorney General, and Supreme Court shall electronically
3 submit a report to the Judiciary Committee of the Legislature concerning
4 the use of property taxes, income taxes, and sales taxes in paying for
5 operations of the judicial system, together with any suggestions for
6 reducing the use of such taxes and proposals for any legislation
7 necessary to make such reductions. Any political subdivision is also
8 encouraged to electronically submit such a report to the committee on or
9 before such date.
